Buying or selling a home can be a physically , emotionally and, of course, financially wrenching experience. Buying and selling at the same time can be nothing less than a prescription for personal disaster - unless you have an excellent realtor who is there to help you through the process. We're happy to say that we found just such a realtor in you, Cathy, and we're ever-so-thankful for your assistance.
There were times during the process when we simply wanted to give up, during both the buying and selling, but you were there to act as broker, confidante, cheerleader, advisor, screener and plenty of other vocations you won't find listed in the dictionary definition of realtor. Your patience, persistence, thoroughness, inventiveness and availability actually made our home buying and selling a lot less painful and (dare we say) your efforts went a long way toward making it a pleasurable experience. Besides, we like to think that we got a good friend out of this as well.
In particular, we appreciate your efforts in taking our previous home, a cute, small bungalow in the Sparr Heights sections of Glendale, and making it show and sound like a million bucks (even though we didn't quite get that much for it). About one year ago my wife and I decided to move to La Canada. I am a local builder and my wife is a teacher here. To that end we worked with one and then another of the top agents in the community. They led us to believe their connections would not only make the process easier, but that they would know about properties before anyone else. But after six frustrating months of seeing only two homes out of our price range (one that we bid on) and dozens of un-returned phone calls, we decided it was time to find someone who was actually working for us and not themselves.

We feel so lucky to have found you as our agent! We first started looking for a house in the La Canada area about two years ago when we decided we wanted to move away from the Hollywood area. I remember that Jonathan researched some realtors in your area and said that he had a good feeling about you from your website. On blind chance we called you and told you what we were looking for. Given that we had a new baby, hadn't sold our home yet and were very picky, we warned you that it might take seeing many houses and a very long time to find what we wanted! The amazing thing is that you never gave up on us and we never felt any pressure whatsoever from you. When we sold our home and decided that we felt more comfortable renting rather than rushing to buy a house, you were totally on board and started sending us listings for rentals.
